It is our 10th annual Harry Potter Fundraiser time. The Hogwarts Holiday fundraising week will be November 3rd – 7th. All money raised will be used to help families in our community. This is a great way to take care of those around you. It is also the best way to earn “house points.” Thank you for our great success last year! Today your child was sorted into a House at Hogwarts (MJH). During the first few minutes of their RAP class November 3rd – 7th, we will be collecting donations. We will gather the contributions each day, and the results will be posted in an hourglass under each house flag in the main hall. If you don’t want to send your donation with your child, we have an online donation option. You will be able to choose to which house your donation is directed. See link and QR code below. These will go live today, Friday, October 31st.
We will also be doing a food drive for the Bountiful Food Pantry. They are looking for specific items. We will tie “house points” to the most needed items also. One in four students go hungry in our school district. Many of the items donated will be given to students in our district from the Pantry.
At the end of the week, the house with the most points/donations will win the House Cup! With that title will come great accolades, a trophy, and a treat during RAP the following week. The winning house receives this treat in the 3-Broomsticks (cafeteria) at the end of their RAP class the following week.
