MJH Read-a-Thon

This Friday, Millcreek students will be participating in a special Read-a-Thon as part of Utah Governor Spencer Cox and First Lady Abby Cox’s statewide reading initiative. The event is designed to encourage students to put away the distractions, pick up a good book, and spend some dedicated time reading.

To make the day even more fun, Friday is also Pajama Day! Students are encouraged to come to school in their favorite school-appropriate pajamas, bring a book they’re excited to read, and get comfortable. Students may also bring snacks to enjoy while they read.

We will follow an alternate bell schedule on Friday to provide time for the Read-a-Thon. Whether students enjoy fantasy, mysteries, adventure, graphic novels, nonfiction, or something else entirely, the goal is simple: find something you enjoy and READ!

We’re looking forward to a fun and relaxing day celebrating reading together. Grab your pajamas, snacks, and a great book, Mustangs!
